What We Do

Through our fundraising and volunteer outreach efforts, we:

  • Fund Grants: We pay for various programs and activities to enrich our school and the learning experience for our students—as well as provide teachers with extra resources and opportunities that don’t fit into the regular school budget. The PCPA typically awards over $10,000 per school year in grants and other funding.
  • Run In-School Programs: We provide volunteers, funding, and other support for programs and events such as the 4th grade celebration, 1st Grade Fun Day, Book Fairs, and Visiting Authors and Artists.
  • Provide Teacher Support: We pay for the subscription to Ruth’s Reusable Resources, facilitate teacher appreciation events, classroom connectors, and assist with Kindergarten screening day(s).
