As an all-volunteer organization, the PCPA depends heavily on participation from Pond Cove families. Here are the ways you can get involved.

Attend a Monthly Meeting

Our meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month, with the exception of vacation weeks and/or when otherwise noted. Meetings follow Robert’s Rules of Order and are typically 60 minutes in length. The meetings are meant to be informative and to encourage the exchange of new ideas.

For the 2022-23 school year, all meetings will be held via Google Hangout until further notice. You can join on your computer or mobile device, or by phone. Information is shared via our Google calendar – see the bottom of this page for instructions.

Subscribe to our Calendar

To subscribe to our calendar, you will need to copy and paste the following link when prompted by your calendar application.

Each calendar application is a little different, here’s what to look for depending on your device and which calendar application you use. You’re looking for the option that allows you to add a calendar using the “iCal” format.

Google Calendar (recommended): Add Calendar from URL

iOS Calendar: Add Subscribed Calendar (found in settings under “Passwords & Accounts”)

Mac Calendar: New Calendar Subscription (under “File” menu when in the Calendar app)

Outlook Calendar: New Internet Calendar Subscription

Joining our Facebook group is a great way to join the conversation and get timely reminders about upcoming events and deadlines.

Our newsletter contains all the latest news from the PCPA and the school community, including announcements for upcoming events, deadline reminders, and PCPA reports. This online correspondence comes directly to your inbox. What could be easier? Click here to sign up now.

How to submit information to be published by PCPA:

Please be aware that we can only publish info regarding the Cape Elizabeth Schools or the Cape Elizabeth Education Fund. We can include sports announcements provided the sports include the students of Pond Cove School.

Please note: Our eNewsletter is sent via email every other Wednesday. If you would like to include a blurb in the newsletter or on the website, you must submit the info by the Friday before.

In your email, be sure to include:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Event or program title
  • Date
  • Start time and end time
  • Location
  • Chair name (or appropriate contact) AND email
  • A small blurb describing the event or program (1-3 sentences)
  • Deadline if applicable
  • Note where you want your announcement featured – website, newsletter, Facebook
