The first annual Haunted Harvest was a smashing success! A totally re-engineered and re-charged version of the Pond Cove's Fall Festival, this event was inspired by a dream that 3 people had to create an event that could build community spirit, fund some lost programs in the school, and energize and bring together Cape Elizabeth friends and families. With a lot of hard work and a little luck with the weather, their dream came true!!
The event raised over $6,000 and was happily the beneficiary of over fifteen neighboring corporate sponsors (see below). Families across all three schools supported this event by way of volunteering time and or donating products. The event premiered activities, games, a haunted hayride and delicious food of all varieties. The games ranged from home spun ring tosses to a moon bounce and dunk tank.
We would like to call out and ask the community to support the following organizations that support our children and our schools: Barber Foods, Broadway Gardens, Cape Elizabeth High School Boosters, Cinemagic Westbrook, Craig Lapine & Cultivating Community, Cumberland Farms - Cape Elizabeth, CVS - Cape Elizabeth, Drillins Hardware, Eastman Family & Turkey Hill Farm, Freshies, Hannaford Millcreek, Dr. Jason Garlock Of Endodontic Assoc., Market Fresh Produce, The Meat House of South Portland, Nancy Camp and Family, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Associates, Rudy's of the Cape, Sanford Insurance Company, Shoppers Hardware Millcreek - (True Value), Spirit Halloween South Portland, Target, Wendy's Millcreek.

Every participant and contributor was crucial to the success of the event.
