Pond Cove Challenge

What a day! Despite the weather, hundreds of runners took to our streets for this great day of family fun and personal achievement. We are so proud of all the runners! Thanks to all of you who came out to share your talent and spirit. There were 405 5K runners and 136 one-milers. Numbers were up in both races, even in the rain. The results are posted in the lobby of the school and are also available at www.coolrunning.com. The event raised close to $10,000!

Enormous thanks to event co-chairs Andie Mahoney and Amy Cochran. What a spectacular job! Thanks for working so hard to bring us this great event. Thank you to all of the event sponsors. Thanks also to our Master of Ceremonies Mike Mahoney. And our heartfelt thanks to the dozens and dozens of parent volunteers who waved flags, awarded medals, tallied times, organized, sweated and cheered. We are very grateful to you all!

The Pond Cove Challenge takes place in June and includes a 5K Road Race (course map), a 1-mile race and a Little Kids' Fun Run.
